What are VGTs?

Video gaming terminals, or VGTs, are like low-stakes slot machines. They have entertaining video slot themes and are in cabinets similar to slot machines.

Does my truck stop qualify for VGTs?

To qualify for a VGT application you must meet all of the following requirements:

  • Be equipped with diesel island used for fueling commercial motor vehicles

  • Have sold on average 50,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel each month for the previous 12 months or be projected to sell an average of 50,000 gallons of diesel or biodiesel fuel for the next 12 months

  • Maintain 20 parking spaces dedicated for commercial motor vehicles

  • Have a convenience store

  • Be situated on a parcel of land not less than 3 acres that the Truck Stop owns or leases

  • NOT be located on any property owned by the Pennsylvania Turnpike

  • Be licensed as a Lottery Sales Agent pursuant to the Pennsylvania State Lottery law

How do the video gaming machines pay out prizes?

Each Establishment Licensee will have a Redemption Terminal that is supplied and maintained by Jango Entertainment.

Video gaming terminals will only issue payout tickets (no cash). The customer will have the option to insert their payout ticket into the Redemption Terminal in exchange for cash OR into a Video Gaming Terminal located at the same truck stop establishment to continue playing.

How much space do I need for VGTs at my truck stop?

Jango Entertainment offers a comprehensive custom designed floor plan based on the available square footage in your establishments. We provide design plans for your custom video gaming room, and recommend a minimum of 150 square feet of space to accommodate VGTs.

The Jango Entertainment will come set up your gaming area, connecting the machines to the state’s central system and offering servicing around the clock. Our team of experts will help you design a gaming area that is tailored to your establishment’s square footage in a way that boosts player participation and profits.

What type of gaming terminals do you provide?

Jango Entertainment uses machines by internationally recognized manufacturers. We adhere to rigorous testing and ensure compliance with national and state standards. All VGTs are approved by the Pennsylvania Gaming Control board, with new games and themes regularly approved. Our teams ensure your truck stop is always equipped with the latest and best VGTs on the market.
